After spending 12 years in the Banking Industry leading the two largest offices in Michigan, Kim decided she needed a career where she could make a more significant impact in changing the lives of others. With that, she began her NYL career in July 2006 as an agent in the Greater Detroit GO, where she achieved MRDT, Rookie of the Year and two consecutive councils. She was promoted to Partner in 2008. Having been identified as a leader and champion of development, she was asked to bring her expertise to Home Office in 2009 in the Management Development department. While in Home Office, she held leadership roles in Recruiting and Retention as well as leading the Market Development Consultant Group.
In 2013, Kim was promoted to Market Manager of the Women’s Market. From 2014-2019 under her leadership, the market experienced unprecedented growth in key company drivers – Recruiting, Retention and the increase of Women Managers. Kim graduated from New York Life’s Accelerated Leadership Program in 2015 and assumed responsibility of the Millennial and LGBT market, expanding outreach across the country. Kim is a passionate advocate, empowering consumers to take control of securing their financial futures.
Kim is a graduate of Siena Heights College with a BS in Psychology and recently completed an Executive Women in Leadership certification through Cornell University. She enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with family and friends in her free time. She is excited to return to Greater Detroit where her New York Life career began!
